Namche Barwa Knickpoint  Great knickpoint along the Tsangpo River, at the Namche Barwa - Gyala Peri massif. River flows between Gyala Peri (at upper left) and Namche Barwa (just off image at bottom), and then traverses Big Bend gorge (at right), falling some 2000 meters in just the area visible in the image. The fabled Rainbow Falls occur along the River just as it enters the Big Bend, at image center-right.
